Hey EveryBody! Alissa here from Simply Good Thinking. Welcome to the place where we believe Good Food + Good Friends = Good Health What do you get when you mix an Italian/German mom, 2 little boys, a busy hubby and a dog? An Amused Meal Maker who talks with her hands and knocks things over a lot. It's okay...really. No one gets hurt (usually) and we've gotten used to the smoke alarm going off. The important thing, is at the end of the day, we all get to sit down to a delicious, healthy meal and chat. Connecting during mealtime is a VITAL part of family culture around the world! |

I am a working mom, trying to hold down the fort while raising kids and walking dogs.
I spend a lot of time in Mealmaking HQ (otherwise known as my kitchen).
It's important, to me, to feed my family, friends (and myself) good, nutritious food. It makes me happy.
Making food is the precursor to that happiness and so I have come up with ways to be sure I put good food on the table most days. Whether it's planned or thrown together last minute, I make it happen AND...you can too.
I love making food come to life in the classroom, during interactive presentations and in the kitchen.
Sharing the value and simplicity of making good, healthy meals with kids and their families is what I do.
